An LED wall washer is a lighting equipment which is used for illumination. The structure of LED wall washer consists of a rectangular arrangement of several LED displays and lights. It is a powerful fixture that add, enhance and brighten visual interest to any room or situation. Normally these lights contains 36 high power LEDs and are commonly used in architectural settings in the form of both indoors and outdoor purposes, to decorate spaces, buildings, gardens, restaurants, stage sets by producing a bright and dynamic environment.

In this technology, arrangements of small and high-output bulbs are used. These small LED bulbs are  the type of solid state lighting (SSL) that functions differently from filament and fluorescent technologies. The most common size of the diameter of these LED bulb is 5 mm (0.20 inch) and the largest size available commercially is usually no more than 25 mm or around an inch in diameter.

LED wall washers are more difficult to install into an existing building as compared to hanging lighting, but the recessed cove holding the LEDs provides a cleaner fixture look. These recessed fixtures also enhance lighting by hiding bright bulbs away from direct sight. A designer of lighting may plot many wall washers along with the length of an extended wall to maintain the lighting.

Normally, LED wall washers contain die-casting 6063 aluminum alloy housing, 3 mm tempered glass cover, high-efficiency PMMA optical lens, outdoor rated (IP65), voltage range from 20 to 30V DC, lifespan 80,000 to 100,000 hours, pure spectrum, etc. This form of LED displays are becoming very popular in different ceremonies and functions in which walls and ceilings are equipped with bright and beautiful colored wall washer lights.
