Moving LED Displays
Moving or animated LED displays have also been introduced in the market to get attention of the customers. Flashing or moving LED displays are now available at cheap price and in various sizes. They can be designed for indoor or outdoor purposes. Some of the displays are programmed to display a particular message or set of messages and others can be connected to a computer and altered with a software application. The movement of an LED display can be created through simply turning the diodes or LEDs in on and off sequence that moves in one direction. Due to this process appearance of movement occurs.
The basic component of an LED display is its electronic board. The board consists of light emitting diodes (LED). Few boards are filled with single color diode, few are the combinations of colors and others are more complicated and consist of bi-color or tri-colored LEDs. The direction of the displays can be determined by emitting the bi-colored LED light in it. If it is moving to the left, then the color might be any and if it is moving to the right then the color will change. Tri-color LEDs are actually two LEDs with same case. They are separately controlled, wired but can be lit simultaneously.
In LEDs, the flashing can be created by using that LED in which a multi-vibrator circuit works. Typically the time of flashing is set to be one second. Other possibilities can be RGB diodes that are available in red, green and blue colors in the markets. They can be used to emit several, all or single colors. The alphanumeric LED is also used for flashing and animation of LED displays.
